I'm currently loving these shoes- obscene amounts. It's pretty sad how a pair of shoes can bring so much joy but they really do make everything feel great. They're not really my style (I tend to shy away from anything with a skinny heel in favour of super-chunky shapes that I can run for the bus in) but these just couldn't be ignored. There is a slight French element to them and they are pretty sexy as well as going with a multitude of pieces due to the colour way - PERFECT.

The Hugo Boss Summer Party
Last week I was lucky enough to attend the annual Hugo Boss summer party for the second year in a row and once again, it was great. I thought it would be hard to top last year's venue (it was held in the underground crypts of Somerset House) but when I reached The Saatchi Gallery I realised that maybe it could be done.
Here are a few (hazy) memories...
You can check out the full BOSS Black AW12 campaign here, but here are a few of my favourites...

Alexander McQueen AW12 Campaign
Greetings readers!
How are we all? Apologies for my lack of posting, I have been off sunning myself in the Balearic isle of Mallorca. I had big intentions of writing and scheduling posts to go live while I was away but as usual, my best laid plans never seem to happen what with working and packing etc I just didn't get round to it (sorry about that).
I will be sharing the visual diary from my trip later this week but as I trawled through my emails this morning I came across the rather lovely Alexander McQueen AW12 campaign shots and simply had to share.
I love the origami, futuristic vibe and I love that red/pink ruffle dress.

Drama Queen
I do love a bit of drama, specifically when it comes to fashion. Now the blogger bombardment of runway shots has calmed down since fashion week I thought I'd share some of my dream pieces that came down the runways for AW12.

LFW: Visual diary part 3
So my friend's I'm rounding up fashion week on my blog now. I have about a million other photographs to share but I need to break it up a bit, I love fashion week and even I am a little over writing about it so I'm guessing you might be bored of reading about it. All I will say is that as usual the week was filled with the weird, the wonderful, good friends, beautiful design, high heels and a hell of a lot of air kissing.

LFW: Mattijs AW12
Day two, second show in, wasn't all that impressed with show one of the day so wasn't sure what to expect, enter the Mattijs AW12 show, it whipped me into a frenzy.
Inspired by Star Wars (my god I never thought I'd utter those words) the show was slick and super cool. Sharp pleats mixed with dreamy and fluid lines outlined the collection whilst elegance and wearability were thrown together with blues, greens and metallics. A special mention must go to those ridiculously good, over-sized, multi-frill orange and green coats, WOW.

Looking forward to seeing next season already.

LFW: Osman AW12
Day 4, the Osman show. I have to admit I was struggling, four days at fashion week and a crazy Saturday night to boot, I was tired, full of cold and thinking about all the emails that were sitting untouched in my inbox. Anyhow, we muddled through and thank F*@K we did, it blew me away!
The shapes and silhouettes were incredible. Cocoon coats, mullet hems, high waisted leather skirts and jackets, statement collars, cigarette pants and THAT oriental brocade. I can't get enough, I could talk about this one all day long. Insanely good. It's almost as if he crawled into my mind and took my wish list out of my mind before I even knew that the wish list existed, does that make any sense or is my love making me giddy?
Anyhow, my shots didn't turn out so well so instead of subjecting you to wobbly runway shots here are some of my favourite looks, courtesy of style.com...

LFW: Felder Felder AW12
I enjoyed the Felder Felder AW12 show. It was a contemporary and wearable mix of desirable separates that i am already styling into my imaginary wardrobe. Special mentions must go to the statement knitwear in which exaggerated shoulders, fringing and strong silhouettes featured along with bejewelled pants, a digitally printed stretch jumpsuit and a rather special metallic mini skirt. SWEET.

LFW: Maria Grachvogal AW12
The Maria Grachvogel AW12 show was set in the beautiful and very apt Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy, just a hop, skip and a wedged ankle boot jump away from Somerset House.
Opulent and grown-up decadence is exactly what I needed for midway through day one. The dramatic yet dreamy floor length, flowing gowns, skirts and trousers were the epitome of feminine sophistication. The palette of olive, champagne and red was topped off with contemporary digital prints which added a modern touch to the old-school glamour style collection.
