LFW: Bora Aksu AW12

Continuing the running theme of all things great on day one was Bora Aksu. His SS11 show last September was my show of the season so there was a lot to live up to and this season, he did not dsissapoint. Once again, it is right up there at the top of my lust-list.

Fluid lines were mixed with structured shapes and silks combined with metallics, frills and ruffles and intricate print inspired by 1950s wallpaper gave the collection textured depth. Small details like foil collars and bow neck ties added contemporary and girlie charm to a directional collection.
