New Kicks

For those that know me well, you'll know that exercising of any nature does not come naturally. Unfortunately as one gets older it's becoming a necessity. I can't diet - I love dining too much and as my metabolism slows down, it's time to take action.

Enter- SportsShoes.com! Mere weeks after signing up for a 10k (gulp), I came across these babies by New Balance. If anything can coax me off a seated position and into a run its fancy shoes, PLUS the Lady Minimus WR10V2s incorporate Vibram technology (I'm told this is what every runner needs). They are super comfortable and super light which is perfect for taking them to the gym straight from work too!

So there you go, what will it take to get a lazy girl out of her heels? A really fancy pair of sneaks...

Well folks, this is my final visual diary from this season's London Fashion Week. I am aware that LFW was a few weeks back now but I had got a little bored of posting about fashion week as well as reading about it on just about every blog so I thought I'd take a little break.

New Shoes Make Everything Better

I'm currently loving these shoes- obscene amounts. It's pretty sad how a pair of shoes can bring so much joy but they really do make everything feel great. They're not really my style (I tend to shy away from anything with a skinny heel in favour of super-chunky shapes that I can run for the bus in) but these just couldn't be ignored. There is a slight French element to them and they are pretty sexy as well as going with a multitude of pieces due to the colour way - PERFECT.

LFW: What We Wore

For day one, I had a rather lovely little number picked out but the weather didn't appear to be on my side so I went with a different, lovely little number but it did mean that I was in my standard uniform of head-to-toe black (hey, if it 'aint broke, don't fix it right?)...

It's sale time! Oh I do love a good sale, I seem to spend hours trawling websites, drawing up wish lists and convincing myself that spending too much money is 'ok' because the pieces I am buying are half the original price.

Charlotte Olympia SS12

It's raining in London...again. So when one should be meeting friends for après-work, pub garden drinks I am resorted to sitting in and watching Bridget Jones' Diary while The Boy watches the Euros (oh I am so pleased there is more football on, I was wondering what I was going to do when the season ended but thank god for the Euros *please note my sarcastic tone.) Anyhow...back to the topic in hand. So whilst watching a true classic I have been doing a spot of internet browsing and simply had to share these beauties by the master(ess) designer that is, Charlotte Olympia from her SS12 collection. 

So now I am dreaming for two things; the sun and Charlotte Olympia SS12.

Cobbled

Lusting today. The worst thing about living in London is the amount of walking that I end up doing. Due to this, I rarely get to wear the one million pairs I already have and yet I still seem to want more.

Hello dear readers, how are we all?

So as regulars may have realised it has been forever since my last post. I apologise for this but I was a little light on inspiration and I detest publishing 'filler posts' about garbage just to keep with regularity. So there it is, my apology.

I will move on to say Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing festive period and partied it up appropriately to see in 2012. I'd like to thank you all for your support and for stopping by over 2011, it was a great year. As I am slightly too late for my usual yearly round-up I am just going to move back into regular posts as I am rested, relaxed and full of fresh inspiration for the year. I have also decided to post a lot more about things I love. There will of course be the obligatory blogger outfit posts but I will also be posting more loves, likes and all in between.

First up, Prada SS12 shoes.

I simply have no words, they are borderline mental which is exactly why I love them. I think this year should be about more mental shoes.

Serious Swoon

Having a massive Saturday morning swoon from the comfort of my dressing gown, (oh the glamour) over Charlotte Olympia.

Why, oh why do I not own these ridiculously a-mazinging pieces? If anyone fancies buying me a gift for no particular reason I am specifically in love with the acrylic and feather box clutches, they are just delish.

You Make Me Live Now Honey

What a delightful autumnal afternoon I've had. Strolling around in the seasonal splendor that is the juxtaposition of warm sunshine and crisp air, with my lovely friend was the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Especially when sporting some of my new and favourite autumn pieces. 

Trench (thanks to The Boy) and leatherette trousers: Topshop, silk slip: nightwear circa 1995 (god, I keep hold of things for way too long), draped tee: Primark, boots (again, thanks to The Boy): Office.
