Just doing a bit of tidying up and forgot that I had not already blogged about this, so better late than never...I LOVE the autumn/winter issue covers of POP magazine. 'Nuff said.

London Calling: Vero Moda is on it's way!
I came across European brand Vero Moda about three years ago. A friend from Ireland had a few pieces from their collection and it was love at first sight. Ever since I have longed for the day that I will be able to saunter into one of their stores whenever I like, that day is almost here.
On 4th November, Vero Moda are launching their London flagship at 179 Oxford Street, London and I can't wait! I will of course attend the launch and give you the low down of the store, the collection and of course my wish list! Be one of the first to get to the new store on the 4th and you could get one of their coveted gold bags which entitles you to a free outfit!
Their AW collection is directional and lust-worthy, whilst being easy on my new vintage purse so I am getting ready for some serious shopping.

If that wasn't enough excitement, I have been lucky enough to receive some pieces from the Vero Moda Very collection pre the launch, (is that faint squeals of jealously I hear?!). I received the beautiful box yesterday and I will be playing dress-up this evening so keep your eyes peeled for a peak into my wardrobe and the new collection on the blog tomorrow.
Our Vero Moda sources are encouraging us to pick up a copy of the Metro tomorrow "for a little Vero Moda surprise" now if that's not a reason to get out of bed in the morning, I don't know what is.

Get in my wardrobe...Angel Jackson
I have recently stumbled across luxury label Angel Jackson. Launched by sisters Katie and Millie Smith in 2005, Angel Jackson is the epitome of brit-cool and right up my style street. The pieces are the perfect balance between edge and luxe and are real show stoppers. They are an excellent way to add that special something to a casual weekend look or to top off that glam look to hit the front row of a show.
I couldn't possibly tell you my favourites from the A/W collection as I have fallen for every single ethically sourced, well crafted, beautifully cool piece. Here are a few shots from the campaign for you to feast your eyes on...
(Loving the fringe and feathers)
Featured in every fashion bible around from Vogue to InStyle it's high time you (and I) bring a little Angel Jackson into our lives.

Fashion Week Round Up: New York
Alexander Wang is the New York show I have decided to feature. It was a tough choice but once again Wang just manage to pip everyone else to the post in my book. In an opposite take to the luxe sportswear look we saw for SS10, the collection is tailored and very chic. The fit is skin tight for most and has bondage undertones with cut away sections and cross body panels. The colour palette was black, black and more black with splashes of dark red and camel, grey and dark green featuring. Texture is key to the collection with panelling, leather, velvet, studding/beading, ruching and macrame all featuring. My favourite piece of the collection was the camel cut out cape which is just beautiful.

Fashion Week Round Up: London
As the end of fashion week is drawing near it would be ludicrous not to document my favourite shows and looks of what is such a magical time in the fashion capitals of the globe. I am however going to shy away from the endless lists of designers, images, descriptions and quotes that are floating around so many blogs after fashion week- no offence to my fellow bloggers I just prefer to get to the point and sum up (or try to) in one so here goes.
Obviously not in order (that would be too easy), I'm starting where my heart is...London.
My absolute favourite of all shows in London this fashion week had to be Ashish. The collection was fresh, young, edgy, sometimes a little crazy (the opening sequin pyjamas got me), yet totally wearable without being boring, (quite a lot of adjectives to be used to describe one thing I think you'll agree?). I adore the effortless, bag-lady esque and genius styling used in this show. Oversized, layer upon layer and heavy knits teamed with bold colour, print and an all important splash of sequin. The fingerless gloves and knitted fisherman hats teamed with flat boots and knit socks were a hot touch along with the bold colour streaks in those 'Wang-like' side plaits.
Check out the full show here. The shorts and cream knit jumper combo shown at around 6 minutes is a look I will be channelling come the end of summer, (how can I be wishing it to be Autumn already?).
