Hello, Chanel-o...

Paris, Haute Couture week has been running this week showcasing the dreamy and wonderful from the finest designers. With my consuming love for Chanel still very strong I couldn't help but write about the truly magical SS10 collection which was shown on Tuesday.

Delicate pastels and nude hues were favoured and the whole collection has a fragile yet powerful vibe. Frills, ruffles and silver embellishment were in abundance with my favourite looks coming from the classic Chanel suit.

The tweed suit has been re-worked for this collection with the slim pencil skirt swapped for a loose fitting, tailored short. Trims took the form of tulle and silver lame which matched the half leather gloves which mirror the look of Monsieur Largerfeld (aka God).

Less classic looks were also seen with neon colours and structured shapes. BUT...nothing comes greater than the piest de resistance, the final look of the show being wedding attire. The 'bride' wore a full length, beautiful gown complete with lashings of tulle flowing at the back and the 'groom' in a complete silver lame skinny suit. INCREDIBLE.
