Frieze Art Fair

This weekend I was one hell of a culture vulture! Stepping out of my comfort zone of Brick Lane and Shoreditch I visited Regents Park, London which played host to the Frieze Art Fair. More familiar with being surrounded by shabby chic, scene kids it was rather a nice change to be surrounded by sophisticated, European art buyers!

'Frieze Art Fair is the UK's most important art event and one of the world's most influential contemporary art fairs. It's a tightly selected presentation of the most forward-thinking galleries from around the globe.'
There were 165 galleries exhibiting work by over 1000 artists. Some odd, some beautiful, some confusing...yet all inspirational.

  2. Hello Coco,

I like the selection of artists that you picked from the Frieze a while back, in particular David Bachelor and Tomoko Nagai whose I think are both brilliant. Tomoko's solo
show here was amazing - so effortless looking yet so advanced.
